The pop tab angels are back

Just like the title says :) I started making the pop tabs angels again. And made them in all the colors show below.

Happy 2014!

One of my new years resolutions is to post my owm made items on this blog again. Most of them still will be pop tab items. Some of them will be fully crochet or chainmaille items. The two other things that I love to make. Also like to combine crochet and/or chainmaille with pop tabs.

My first item this year is these cool neon pink pop tab heart earrings. The earrings are really pink and the photo does not do it justice.

Finally something new on the pop tab front made by me. I like the elegant look of this one. Also use a lot of pop tabs to make this one. 120 to be exact. I used a magnetic clasp as closure

Overhaul blog: now pop tab making items only

Did some overhaul on this blog. I took all the days out with items that were not pop tab related. I also removed the days were I only listed stuff I already made. After that I did a recount of all the pop tab blogpost. There are 173 days I made a pop tab item.  I am planning to keep this pure pop tab blog now.

I opened a second etsy store, where is show off items that I crochet. You can see it in the etsy mini on the right. It is called ringcat. day 154. Pop tab candle holder second try

My project for today. Lissa asked my if she could order the candle holder I made when get to each 50 items of my project.  I had to confess something becaus of this question. I will show you after I show the second try of making the candle holder

My first try looked like this

It looked perfect didn't it. In reality it was not perfect at all. My first try at making these did not fit at all. They were too big. Because I shot the photo in a lower angle you did not see it. But here it is in a higher angle. See the room it has on the left. My second try solved this problem. I have some other ideas I want to try out.

Made it to the half way point of this project. I have been thinking and I going to change my rules of this project a bit. I started an other etsy shop where I am experimenting with crochet en sewing things. This is still going to be a creative blog, but not only about pop tabs anymore. I am going to mix it up with other things I like make at the moment. Just to get my creative vibe flowing again.

Looked up my to do list again. I got my self a serger so I could take that one of the list. Lets see if I can get myself in the flow again.
