day 80. Pop tab tooth

I have to go to dentist tomorrow. It is the only thing I can think about at the moment. I am really really scared of going to the dentist. Always had this problem.

day 67 Pop tab baby

Created this cute pop tab baby today. He ( or she ;) ) is even wearing a diaper.

I made pop tab guys twin brother and listed him in my etsy shop. I am to attached to the original one to let him go

day 64. Pop tab mouse

Just had some fun with a bunch of stuff. I used pop tabs, thread, wire and swarovski beads. And this is the result :)

Okay this one I do not like. The stripes on the bumble bee are not straight at all. Because I am getting the hang of macro photography it is even more clear.  O well, tomorrow an other change at making something.

I like how this miniature looks. I think i looks like a miniature art sculpture :).  I like its little legs, antenna and wings. Days like this i really enjoy what I make.

day 40 happy pop tab carrot

A little bit in a hurry today. I went out to dinner with a good friend of dinner mine. It was fun, but when i got home i still had to do my daily craft.

I finally found a varnish that also gives a nice smooth finish.  Here is an other miniature, a vegetable this time, a happy carrot.

Good news. I finally found paint that gives a smooth finished when I paint. Bad news. I can not say the same of my varnish. O well, I going step by step and getting further every time.

Tried the wire wrapping technique again. I am slowly getting better at it. Today i made a pop tab angel. I like it myself, because I like art to be minimalistic  but still recognizable what it is.

Love this little guy. My little pop tab snowman. I changed a few things when making pop tab miniatures. I used crafting foam instead a felt. Also instead of using gouache to paint it i use acrylic paint. I think it gives it a much cleaner look. I also use a varnish after I painted it.

A other pop tab miniature. This time a chick. Glued the beak standing up this time. I like this beak better then the beak on the pinquin bird.

Back to painting the pop tabs again and making the miniatures. Here is a pop tab black cat. Still like my fishy from a few days back the most.
