Okay this one I do not like. The stripes on the bumble bee are not straight at all. Because I am getting the hang of macro photography it is even more clear.  O well, tomorrow an other change at making something.

day 56 smart phone case with pop tab mini buckle

I bought a sewing machine a year back. Stored it and never used it.  Today I decided to give it a go. This has taken up hours of my time. First it took me a while to get the sewing machine properly wired. After that i had to figure out how much material I needed. And then trying to sew itself. I took me 3 hours to get to this end result, but I made it. It even looks okay. Learned something new  today. The pop tab part is the belt buckle thingy in the middle :)

I saw this qoute on the t-shirt of somebody at the fitness centrum where i go. It made me smile, so decide to make a postcard of it.

day 40 happy pop tab carrot

A little bit in a hurry today. I went out to dinner with a good friend of dinner mine. It was fun, but when i got home i still had to do my daily craft.

I finally found a varnish that also gives a nice smooth finish.  Here is an other miniature, a vegetable this time, a happy carrot.

I made a date today for my pop tab guy. I thought he would like that :). She even has a small wire wrapped bow on her head.

day 29. Woven pop tab bracelet version 2

The ribbon XL version of the pop tab bracelet on the day 25. Used the same technique to weave it. Instead of a lobster claw clasp I just made a knot at the end. It streches so you can slide it over you hand. I think this will also work if you want to upcycle shoe laces that are long enough.
